Seagrass

Seagrass is set along a wide, oceanfront vista. The design of this residence was inspired by the regional, historical homes of the surrounding area. The Shingle Style house is designed to take advantage of the magnificent ocean views and breezes. The front entry with its welcoming milled walls and stair wraps the room as it ascends to the second-floor sleeping quarters. A cozy study provides for secluded retreats from the activities of a full house. A great room with expansive views to the sea dons a coffered ceiling and a fireplace. The great living room opens to a unique screened porch that is enclosed by the open wraparound porch. The lower porch, meanwhile, spills into the dunes with a viewing platform, offering a picturesque view of the sea and surrounding landscape while extending the interior of the home outdoors.
